Arrondissement TenHousing the two great train stations; Gare D'Lest and Gare du Nord. This area has a multicultural element and a bohemian feel. You can also find Canal St Martin here.
Arrondissement ElevenHousing the Bastille, in the 17th and 18th century this was a prison with luxury as long as you had money. Prisoners were allowed there
own furniture, wine, food and servants. The Man in the Iron Mask and Voltaire were guests here. The Man in the Iron Mask is actually unknown and in fact, his mask was made of velvet and not iron as is commonly thought.
Arrondissement Twelve and Thirteen
Two residential districts but the latter housing ChinaTown. You will also find the Francis Mitterand Biblioteque here and many beautiful parks and gardens.
Arrondissement Fourteen
Montparnasse and Citie Universitaire are found in this district. It is a lively quarter and famous for its cafes and bars. Visit Boulevard Montparnasse to take in the pace of this arrondissement.
Arrondissement Fifteen
This large mainly residential district ranges from the upscale area touching on the 7th and the beauty surrounding the Seine to the relatively safe and affordable areas that surround the district.
